MiningMaven SMP Crates Guide: Every Crate, Key and Prize

All six crates on MiningMaven SMP: how to get each key, what the prizes are, the odds of the rare ones, and how to preview and open crates.

MiningMaven SMP has six crates, and they all stand at spawn. Each one needs its own key. This guide lists every crate, how to get its key, and what you can win, with the real odds for the rare prizes.

How to open a crate

• Type /spawn and walk to the crates.
• Left-click a crate to preview every prize it holds. You can also type /crates to preview all of them from anywhere.
• Right-click a crate while holding its key to open it with a spin.
• Shift + right-click opens all your keys for that crate at once, with no spin.
• Keep some inventory space free. Crates that give several prizes per key need that many empty slots.
• If you close the menu or log out during a spin, you still get your prize.

Vote Crate

The everyday crate. One prize per key.

• Keys: 1 Vote Key for every vote (2 from Forager rank up). There are 12 vote sites, and each can be voted on once every 24 hours, so you can earn up to 12 keys a day. See /vote.
• Vote party: every 250 votes from the whole server, everyone online gets a free Vote Key (2 from Forager up).
• Also from milestone rewards and the Supreme Crate.
• Prizes: cash ($250 or $500), golden carrots, XP bottles, iron blocks, a diamond, flight vouchers, a Safari Net, a basic Sell Wand, 25 Tokens, Common and Uncommon Enchant Shards, and the Vote armor and tool set (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, sword, pickaxe).
• Each Vote gear piece has about a 1 in 39 chance per key. The 25 Tokens prize is about 1 in 16. A Common Enchant Shard is about 1 in 20 and an Uncommon one about 1 in 39: right-click a shard for a random custom enchantment book of that tier.

Supreme Crate

A step up from the Vote Crate. One prize per key.

• Keys: 250 Tokens in /keys, milestone rewards (levels 5, 6 and 7), 2nd place on a paid weekly leaderboard, or a lucky pull from the KOTH Crate.
• Prizes: $1,000 or $2,500, 16 diamonds, 64 XP bottles, flight vouchers, a Vote Key, a Safari Net, a Netherite Ingot, sell wands, 50 Tokens, a Rare Enchant Shard, and the Supreme armor and tool set.
• The 50 Tokens prize is about 1 in 23. The Rare Enchant Shard is about 1 in 33.
• Rare: a Shulker Box (about 1 in 46) and a Spawner Key (about 1 in 115).

Enchantments Crate

Two custom enchantment books per key.

• Keys: 500 Tokens in /keys, milestone level 8, 1st place on a paid weekly leaderboard, the one-time Discord link bundle, the KOTH Crate, or the Black Market (/bm).
• Each book's tier: Common 25%, Uncommon 24%, Rare 22%, Epic 19%, Legendary 10%.
• The books carry MiningMaven's own custom enchantments, which you cannot get in vanilla Minecraft.

KOTH Crate

The prize crate for Arena KOTH winners. Two prizes per key.

• Keys: win Arena KOTH (four times a day; a win only counts with 2 or more players online). KOTH keys are not sold in /keys, but they sometimes show up in the Black Market.
• Prizes: $5,000, ender pearls, XP bottles, golden apples, flight vouchers up to Mega, a Safari Net, an Enchanted Golden Apple, an Enhanced Sell Wand, an Enchantment Extractor, and a 100 Tokens prize (about 1 in 51 per pull).
• Also Enchantments and Supreme keys, and the KOTH Sword, Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings and Boots.

Cosmetics Crate

Season 1, Tides of Olympus. Three prizes per key, across six rarities from Common to Mythic.

• Keys: 1,000 Tokens in /keys, milestone level 9, the one-time Discord link bundle, or the Black Market.
• Prizes: wraps with abilities, relic weapons, tools and armor, potions and charms, and enchantment fragments.
• The Mythic prizes (Leviathan Hammer, Oracle Scythe, Maven Relic Pickaxe and their wraps, the Mythic Sell Wand, and the Oceanic Ingot for a 30-day Legend rank) are each about 1 in 590 per pull.
• Also a Spawner Key and a 250 Tokens prize, each about 1 in 67 per pull.

Spawner Crate

Every prize is a stack of three spawners.

• Keys: milestone level 7, the one-time Discord link bundle, or a rare pull from the Cosmetics or Supreme crates. Spawner Keys are never sold.
• Common (about 1 in 13 each): cow, pig, sheep, chicken, rabbit, zombie, spider and squid spawners.
• Rare (about 1 in 26 each): skeleton, creeper, blaze, slime, magma cube, enderman, drowned, zombified piglin and glow squid.
• Legendary (about 1 in 105 each): iron golem, guardian, witch, vindicator and copper golem.

Which keys can you buy?

Type /keys to spend Tokens: Supreme Key 250, Enchantments Key 500, Cosmetics Key 1,000. Tokens are earned in game (daily quests, milestones, KOTH, leaderboards, linking your Discord and crates) or bought in the store. Vote, KOTH and Spawner keys are not in /keys: Vote and KOTH keys sometimes show up in the Black Market for dollars, and Spawner keys are never sold.
