Server Updates

  1. New guide: all 72 custom enchantments

    • The new custom enchantments guide explains every one of the server's 72 custom enchantments: what each does at every level, which items it fits, and how to get, apply and remove the books.

  2. New website look, rewritten guides and a shop makeover

    • The home page now opens on a real view of the Arena, with a tour of spawn underneath built from screenshots of the server.
    • Every guide was rewritten from the server's own settings: real crate odds, quest rewards, prices, commands and KOTH rules. Guides now show their pictures and the date they were last updated.
    • New guide content: the Black Market (/bm), every crate and its odds, all 68 milestones and what each level pays, the whole economy, and how to get good gear fast.
    • The shop has new treasure-chest pictures for every Token pack, and the Wrap Marketplace now explains how buying and selling works.
    • The live map no longer traps your scroll wheel: click it to explore, or open it full screen.
    • The Weekly Top Voters board at spawn now correctly says the top 3 voters are paid each week.

  3. Leaderboards fixed and the store moves onto the website

    • The Playtime, Top Miners, Mob Hunters and PvP leaderboards now count every player. Before this fix they only counted players who were online.
    • The store now lives on this website. Your cart is always one click away and is remembered while you sign in.

  4. Spawn posters are back

    • All 21 picture posters at spawn are back up, corrected to match the current kits, crates, Black Market hours, claims and leaderboard prizes.

  5. Bedrock cross-play and Microsoft sign-in

    • Bedrock Edition players (phone, tablet, console and Windows) can now join the same world as Java players: play.miningmavensmp.com, port 19132.
    • Sign in to this website with your Microsoft account. One sign-in works for both your Java and Bedrock names.
    • Furnace daily quests (cooking and smelting) now count correctly.

  6. Minecraft 26.3 and twice the vote sites

    • The server now runs Minecraft 26.3.
    • Vote sites went from 6 to 12, so you can earn up to 12 Vote Keys a day.

  7. Safer crates and Token purchases

    • Crate prizes can no longer be lost: if you close the menu or log out during a spin, you still get your prize.
    • Every Token purchase in game now asks you to confirm first, and /crates has a Buy Keys button.
    • Spawn is always daytime again, and spawner unlocks are back to 100, 250 and 500 kills.

  8. New ranks and Tokens: no pay-to-win

    • Six ranks, from Sprout (free when you link your Discord) to Legend, are now bought in game with Tokens.
    • Tokens can be earned by playing: daily quests, KOTH wins, weekly leaderboards, milestones and crates. The store sells only Tokens.

  9. Minecraft 26.2

    • The server was updated to Minecraft 26.2.

  10. MiningMaven's own custom plugin goes live

    • The whole server moved onto one custom plugin built just for MiningMaven, replacing more than 30 off-the-shelf plugins.
    • It brought 72 custom enchantments, the crates, daily quests and milestones, Arena KOTH, the Black Market, player shops, towns and claims, flight and more.
