About MiningMaven SMP
MiningMaven SMP is an independent Minecraft survival server run by a small team of players who wanted a server that feels handmade. Java Edition and Bedrock Edition (phone, tablet, console and Windows) play together in one shared world, and the current season is Season 1 — Tides of Olympus, with relics and cosmetics inspired by Greek mythology.
Built for this server
Almost everything you do on MiningMaven runs on our own custom plugin, written specifically for this server rather than stitched together from off-the-shelf ones. That includes:
- Daily quests and 68 milestones across six categories
- 72 custom enchantments and six custom crates
- KOTH events in the arena and 1v1 fights in the Colosseum
- A player-driven economy: the Auction House, player shops, orders and trading
- Chunk claims and towns, with no upkeep or taxes
Because we built it, we can fix problems and add new features ourselves.
Fair by design
Every rank on the server can be earned by playing. Ranks are bought in game with Tokens, and Tokens come from daily quests, KOTH wins, weekly leaderboards, milestones and crates. The store sells Tokens and nothing else, so buying a pack only gets you somewhere faster — it never gets you anything a player can’t earn.
The community
Our Discord is where events are announced, players trade and team up, and where you can open a support ticket with staff. The guides on this site cover everything from joining for the first time to the economy, crates and KOTH.
