MiningMaven SMP Spawners Guide
Learn how MiningMaven SMP spawners unlock, cost Tokens, and move safely in the cross-play world.
Spawners on MiningMaven SMP are earned, not found. You unlock a spawner type by killing that mob in the wild, then buy it with Tokens. This guide covers all three ways to get one, what each costs, and the rules that protect them.
How to get a spawner
There are exactly three ways to own a spawner: the /spawners shop, the Spawner Crate, and the Black Market.
The kill gate
Every spawner type is locked until you have killed enough of that mob: 100 kills for common types, 250 for rare, 500 for legendary. Only mobs that spawned naturally count. Mobs that came out of a spawner do not count toward unlocking anything.
Buying from the spawner shop
Open the shop with /spawners. It shows all 22 spawner types on one page, with your kill progress on the locked ones. Once a type is unlocked you can buy it as many times as you like. Clicking a type opens a CONFIRM or CANCEL screen, so a mis-click cannot spend your Tokens.
- Common spawners cost 150 Tokens
- Rare spawners cost 300 Tokens
- Legendary spawners cost 600 Tokens
The Spawner Crate
Every prize in the Spawner Crate is three spawners of one type at once. Spawner Keys are never sold. They come from milestones and quests, from the one-time Discord link bundle, and as a rare prize in the Supreme and Cosmetics crates.
The Black Market
The Black Market at /bm restocks every 12 hours and sometimes stocks a single spawner for Tokens. Stock is shared server-wide, so one player gets it. A Black Market spawner ignores the kill gate entirely.
Spawners you find cannot be taken
Any spawner already in the world is indestructible. You cannot break it and Silk Touch does not work on it. Explosions never destroy a spawner either.
Spawners you place can be moved
A spawner you placed yourself can be broken normally and it drops back as the same spawner item, so a spawner you paid for is never lost by moving your farm.
Earning the Tokens
Tokens are earned by playing: 5 for finishing all your daily quests, 10 for winning KOTH, 50 for the last level of a milestone, plus Token prizes in the Vote and KOTH crates. Tokens are also the only thing sold on the website store.
